Buku berjudul “Dumai Dapat Apa?: Catatan Sejarah Perjuangan Dana Bagi Hasil Migas (DBH Migas) Dumai dari Kacamata Agoes S. Alam”<\/em><\/strong> mendokumentasikan perjuangan panjang dan sulit untuk mengamankan DBH Migas bagi Dumai, kota yang lama dikenal sebagai “Kota Minyak, Mutiara Pesisir Timur Sumatra.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Selama puluhan tahun, meskipun menyandang reputasi tersebut, Dumai tidak menerima bagian dari pendapatan bagi hasil. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesalahan penafsiran Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2001 tentang Minyak dan Gas, yang gagal mendefinisikan Dumai sebagai daerah penghasil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dari perspektif Agoes S. Alam, Dumai merupakan bagian integral dari wilayah penghasil minyak dan oleh karena itu harus diakui sebagai daerah penghasil. Kota ini berfungsi sebagai pusat pengolahan minyak dan gas yang sudah ada, dilengkapi dengan semua fasilitas yang diperlukan untuk penyulingan dan distribusi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Berkat upaya gigih yang difasilitasi oleh Pemerintah Kota Dumai, perjuangan ini akhirnya membuahkan hasil. Pada tahun 2022, Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) mengabulkan permintaan Dumai, mengalokasikan satu persen dari pendapatan DBH Migas\u2014sebuah tonggak penting dalam keadilan ekonomi kota tersebut. ~<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The book \u201cWhat Does Dumai Get?: Historical Notes on the Struggle for Dumai\u2019s Oil and Gas Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH Migas) from the Perspective of Agoes S. Alam\u201d<\/em> documents the long and arduous fight to secure DBH Migas for Dumai\u2014long known as the \u201cOil City, the Pearl of the East Coast of Sumatra.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

For decades, despite this reputation, Dumai received no share of the revenue. This was due to a misinterpretation of Law No. 22 of 2001 on Oil and Gas<\/strong>, which failed to define Dumai as a producing region.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the perspective of Agoes S. Alam, Dumai is an integral<\/strong> part of the oil-producing area and should, therefore, be recognized as one. The city serves as an existing oil and gas processing hub<\/em>, equipped with all the necessary facilities for refining and distribution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the determined efforts facilitated by the Dumai City Government, this struggle finally bore fruit. In 2022, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)<\/strong> granted Dumai\u2019s request, allocating one percent<\/strong> of the DBH Migas revenue\u2014a significant milestone in the city\u2019s economic justice. ~<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
