Buku ini juga mengangkat kerisauan futurisme: potensi-potensi unggul umat manusia yang dipuja dalam fase modernisme mulai digantikan oleh Agama Data. Bila agama ini anarkis, dia akan membuang semua pemikir\u2013pemikir usang yang lamban dan berpotensi gagal ke dalam tong sampah peradaban akhir zaman. Maka lini masa kita akan segera tamat.<\/span><\/p>\n

AI bukan sekadar alat, melainkan agen otonom yang bisa membuat keputusan dan membentuk mitologi digital sendiri di luar kendali manusia. Simfoni terbaik sekelas Beethoven, prosa dan puisi terindah Kahlil Gibran atau keunikan alegori Franz Kafka akan dengan mudah ditulis secara robotik dengan kualitas yang membuat manusia tidak mampu membedakannya, untuk tidak mengatakan: melebihinya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Di negeri-negeri yang masih mengaku republik, kekuasaan terus dikekang oleh elit dan dinasti politik. Demokrasi dijalankan sebagai rutinitas tanpa ruh, hanya demi menggilir kekuasaan, bukan memperluas keadilan. Para penguasa mengaburkan batas antara negara dan keluarga, antara kepentingan publik dan privasi elit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Di tengah kerusakan politik itu, muncul musuh baru: teknologi yang tak berbatas dan tak punya kode moral. Artificial General Intelligence<\/em> (AGI) sebagai penyempurnaan dari Artificial Intelligence<\/em> (AI)\u00a0 dan apa yang disebut Agama Data, telah menggantikan para filsuf untuk menjadi nabi masa depan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Antisipasi terhadap ancaman kiamat digital dengan algoritma big data adalah pekerjaan rumah terbesar kita, di samping tetap harus membereskan persoalan kekinian bangsa yang ditangani secara banal, kebisingan demokrasi, mega korupsi yang kultural dan sistematis, gelembung ekonomi, bonus demografi, dan merosotnya dialektika esensial sebagai anak bangsa, akibat defisitnya literasi. ~<\/span><\/p>\n

This book is titled U-DISTOPIA<\/em><\/strong>, a term that refers to a battleground of speed between utopia and dystopia, reminiscent of Janus, the two-faced deity in Greek mythology. One face reflects optimism, a yearning for transformation, and a future headed toward utopia. The other reveals pessimism, doubt, anxiety, and gloom: symbols of dystopia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The book also delves into the anxieties of futurism: the once-celebrated human potentials of the modernist era are gradually being supplanted by the emergence of the Religion of Data<\/em>. Should this new \u201creligion\u201d descend into anarchy, it may discard outdated, slow-thinking intellectuals into the wastebin of end-time civilization. In that case, our timeline may soon come to an end.<\/span><\/p>\n

AI is no longer merely a tool, it has become an autonomous agent capable of making decisions and shaping its own digital mythology beyond human control. The finest symphonies of Beethoven, the most beautiful prose and poetry of Kahlil Gibran, or the singular allegories of Franz Kafka could be replicated robotically, with such quality that humans might fail to distinguish, if not be outshined by them.<\/span><\/p>\n

In nations that still claim to be republics, power remains in the grip of elites and political dynasties. Democracy is reduced to an empty ritual, performed routinely to rotate power rather than expand justice. Rulers blur the lines between the state and their families, between public interest and elite privacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amid this political decay emerges a new adversary: a borderless technology devoid of moral codes. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the evolved form of Artificial Intelligence and what is now called the Religion of Data<\/em> have begun to replace philosophers as prophets of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

To eliminate the noise and waste of democratic rituals, we may even create a robotic president, one far superior to any leader who has ever existed. In such a futuristic autopilot nation, human presidents and their subordinates may be needed only as symbolic figures.<\/span><\/p>\n
